Our team is growing, and we’re looking for a Procurement & Estimator Specialist to join our team in Malta. Someone who can combine technical understanding with commercial insight to help drive smart purchasing decisions, accurate project costing, and efficient supplier management.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working at the heart of a project, influencing decisions from tender stage through to execution, and playing a key role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standard.

What You’ll Be Doing

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing accurate cost estimates, budgets, and tender submissions for construction and building services projects

• Reviewing technical drawings, specifications, and tender documents to assess project scope and cost requirements

• Preparing bills of quantities and detailed cost breakdowns

• Sourcing and negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors to secure the best value, quality, and commercial terms

• Reviewing quotations and comparing supplier offers to ensure cost efficiency and project suitability

• Monitoring market trends, material costs, and supplier performance to support strategic procurement decisions

• Coordinating closely with project managers, engineers, suppliers, and subcontractors throughout the tendering and procurement process

• Maintaining procurement records, supplier databases, contracts, and documentation

• Supporting contract negotiations and helping build strong supplier relationships

• Managing multiple tenders and procurement processes simultaneously while keeping quality and deadlines in check

What You Bring

We’re looking for someone with:

• Proven experience in estimating and procurement within construction, MEP, or building services

• A good understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems

• The ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and tender documents with confidence

• Experience preparing cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender submissions

• Strong supplier sourcing, negotiation, and contract management skills

• Good knowledge of local market pricing, construction materials, and subcontractor rates

• Strong Excel skills and confidence using project planning tools such as MS Project

• Strong analytical and numerical skills, with a sharp eye for detail and accuracy

• Confident managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders

• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the confidence to work independently and take ownership

• A valid driving license
