Stores Manager

Our client, a leading local company within the FMCG industry is looking for an experienced Stores Manager to join their team.

Your responsibilities will include: 

• Maintain accurate stock records and ensure proper stock control procedures
• Assist in developing and updating stores management processes
• Carry out stock takes and reconciliations when required
• Manage storage space, conditions, and housekeeping standards
• Ensure correct stock requisitioning and issuing to authorised users
• Oversee timely recording of stock movements and transactions
• Ensure quality control in receiving, storing, and issuing goods
• Optimise storage space and guide storekeepers on usage
• Supervise, train, and appraise stores staff
• Update stock control parameters and verify system reports
• Monitor overstocking and obsolete stock
• Organise and manage all store operations and subcontracted storage
• Liaise with departments for stock planning and coordination
• Oversee packaging and handling of premium and duty free products
• Carry out additional duties as assigned

Working Hours: Monday - Friday: 07:00 - 15:30

Requirements

• Must have at least 2 years of local experience in a similar role and industry.
• Must have and excellent level of written and verbal Maltese & English.
