Paradise Bay Hotel is looking for a Procurement Clerk on a full time basis. In this role, working very closely, with the Purchasing Executive you will be coordinating and executing all activities related to the acquisition of goods and services for the hotel. To excel in this role you will need good organisational skills, good attention to detail and an ability to communicate and work with various supplies and colleagues from other departments.
Responsibilities:
• Keeping accurate and up to date records of all purchases, including prices, quantities and delivery dates
• Preparing and issuing purchase orders in line with company policies and procedures
• Monitoring of stock levels and anticipating future needs in coordination with stores team to ensure optimal stock levels are retained
• Collaborating with suppliers and internal staff to resolve delivery issues such as incorrect deliveries, damaged goods, delays etc
Skills:
• Capable of managing multiple tasks and prioritizing work
• Ability to communicate clearly with suppliers and colleagues
• Ability to accurately process and maintain records and documents
Qualifications and experience:
• Experience in a similar role would be an asset
• O level standard of education
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
• Fluent in English
• Fluency in Maltese would be considered an asset
• Ability to work independently and as a team
