Procurement Associate

Foster Clark Products Ltd in Malta is currently looking to recruit a Procurement Associate to join their team on a full-time basis.

Overview:
Reporting to the Procurement Manager, the Procurement Specialist is responsible for buying indirect materials and services.
Support all the operating units on-the-ground in order to provide the best possible service to all business units and provide a timely delivery of requirements.

Key Accountabilities:
Operational

• Monitor vendor performance across plants and plant relationships
• Ensure materials are contracted for supplying plants while meeting their requirements for quality, delivery and performance in line with the sourcing strategies
• Review purchase requisition and ensure timely Purchase Order placement
• Follow up and expedite Purchase Orders
• Provide driver and storekeeper with the required prioritisation and tasks at hand to ensure the most effective route and time management.

Ideal candidate profile:
Education

• Diploma in Business Management, Economics, Supply Chain or Finance

Experience

• Minimum 2 years experience in procurement
• Career path: 3 years
