Our Client is a Building Services Contractor undertaking a range of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works on projects throughout Malta is looking to recruit a Procurement and Stores Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis. The chosen candidate will take responsibility for purchasing and stock management within their central warehouse near Mosta.
Responsibilities:
Monitoring stock levels and identify purchasing needs.
Researching potential suppliers.
Tracking orders and ensuring timely delivery.
Updating internal database with order details.
Evaluating offers from suppliers and negotiating better prices.
Preparing cost analysis.
Maintaining updated records of invoices and contracts.
Following up with suppliers as needed to confirm and change orders.
Liaising with project leaders to ensure material arrives on time and in good condition.
Requirements:
Previous work experience in a similar role.
An understanding of M&E products.
Hands-on experience with purchasing software.
Advanced knowledge of Ms. Excel.
Solid organisational skills.
