Storage Systems Limited is currently looking to recruit a Procurement and Logistics Officer.

Key Result Areas & Accountabilities

  • Identify potential partners, vendors, and service providers capable of meeting our procurement requirements.
  • Negotiate prices, as well as contract terms and conditions, with suppliers.
  • Handle day-to-day buying responsibilities, including raising purchase orders, following up, expediting, and resolving invoice discrepancies.
  • Track and manage orders to ensure timely delivery.
  • Maintain and update all relevant supplier information.
  • Enforce the company's procurement policies and processes.
  • Develop strategies for purchasing inventory, equipment, services, and supplies.
  • Drive supplier relationship management initiatives.
  • Monitor and control procurement-related expenses within predefined financial budgets.
  • Ensure contracts are monitored to meet expectations, and invoices are approved and paid promptly.
  • Conduct spend and cost data analysis to identify potential cost reduction opportunities.
  • Adhere to procedures in accordance with the Group Procurement Policy.
  • Assist in any other responsibilities and duties necessary to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of the procurement section.
  • Provide support to the logistics function when necessary and contribute to optimising the cost of freight.

Knowledge & Experience

Essential requirements:

  • Minimum of two years' experience in a similar role
  • Training will be provided to the chosen candidate
  • Advanced Diploma in Business would be preferable
  • ECDL certificate
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 with expertise in Excel 
  • Proficient in Business Central or similar ERP system
