Pharma Procurement Executive

Given that, the position for a detailed oriented and motivated Pharma Procurement Executive on a Full-Time basis, has arisen. 

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

• Working directly with company Sales Director and Pharma Manager to proactively plan and source new and existing products  

• Sourcing products while ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards

• Establish professional relationships with wholesalers and suppliers 

• Conducting market research on emerging trends and product opportunities through data analysis 

• Organize and manage product price updates and changes 

• Maintain a database of vendors and respective product pricing 

• Actively search for alternative sources and solutions of supply 

• Comparing and analysing supplier quotations 

• Analysing categories of spend to determine potential opportunities for cost optimization 

• Monitoring supplier / wholesaler performance 

• Performing supplier invoice entries against relevant documentation, scanning and forwarding to respective department 

• Actively liaise with regulatory team for efficient release of products within local market 

• Following up for timely deliveries 

• Negotiating favourable terms on pricing, payment terms as well as lead time.

Qualifications, Experience & Key Skills Required:

• Fluent in both Maltese and English language, verbal and written

• Previous experience as a Procurement Executive within the pharma sector shall be considered an asset (although not mandatory)

• Previous experience within a procurement position is required

• Organizational skills and attention to detail 

• Comfortable working with and analyzing data 

• Ability to work on own initiative with minimal supervision as well as being a team player 

• Strong Professional Ethics.
