Part-Time C-Licensed Truck Drivers (Evenings & Weekends)

Salvo Grima Group is a dynamic group of companies specialising in ship supply, travel retail, wholesale and product distribution in Europe and world-wide. It was first established in 1860 and now employs over 530 people with operations in eight countries.

We are currently looking for reliable and motivated C-licensed Truck Drivers to join our Ship Supply team on a part-time basis, supporting evening and weekend operations. This role is key to ensuring the smooth and timely collection and delivery of goods between suppliers, our warehouse, and our valued clients.

The ideal candidate

• A motivated individual with a strong team-oriented approach;
• Physically fit and able to handle loads of approximately 15–20kg;
• Good communication skills in English (Maltese is considered an asset);
• Valid and clean category ‘C’ driving licence;
• Clean police conduct;
• Previous driving experience in Malta.

The duties include:

• Unloading goods and checking against delivery orders;
• Organising and maintaining goods;
• Assisting in Storekeeping duties;
• Ensuring that deliveries are correct;
• Using a forklift and other warehouse equipment (training will be provided);
• Ensuring that clients are satisfied with delivery service;
• Operating and maintaining the vehicle that the employee is entrusted with;
• Working as part of a team to ensure the highest level of customer care;
• Be available to work on evenings and weekends to help and complement the existing team of drivers;
• Ensuring diligence and complying with Company Health and Safety Procedures, Quality Service objectives and following up on ISO related matters.
