Paint Supervisor

E&L Enterprises Ltd in Malta is currently looking to recruit a Paint Supervisor to join their team on a full-time basis.

Job Role:
E&L Enterprises Ltd. are currently looking for a Paint Supervisor to join our company permanently to manage and oversee the steel structure phase of their projects.
The company manages several large, well-known projects in the industry and works alongside some of the best main contractors, so this would be a great position for someone who is experienced in the steel industry and would like to apply their skills, knowledge and experience.

Requirements/Ability: 

• Making sure that the supplier paint specifications are respected 
• Schedules assigns, and plans the work of paint shop personnel performing a variety of painting projects 
• Plans and develops work schedules, equipment usage schedules, priority of painting expenditures and procedures for equipment maintenance 
• Maintains paint supplies and inventory 
• Monitors the acquisition and use of materials 
• Maintains time, labour hour schedules, material records and submits reports as required 
• Trains or informs employees of new work methods or procedures, changes in safety regulations, and work policies 
• Experience with masking, chemical preparation, and sandblasting
• Supervise all functions in the paint and sandblasting department 
• Set up and break down and properly clean spray equipment such as airless sprayers 
• Forklift operation and security clearance.
