Logistics Coordinator (Farsons Direct)
Reporting to the Farsons Direct Manager, the Logistics Coordinator supports the day-to-day coordination of warehouse and distribution operations, ensuring efficient, cost-effective, and high-quality service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate warehouse operations including stock receipt, storage, movement, and issuance using the WMS.
Manage stock control and ordering to ensure accuracy and optimal availability.
Oversee order processing from picking and invoicing through to delivery and returns.
Plan and optimise delivery routes and schedules.
Support and coordinate warehouse and logistics staff to maximise efficiency.
Liaise with suppliers and drivers to maintain service levels and operational efficiency.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality, and security standards.
Monitor performance and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure all deliveries are invoiced according to Company procedures
Requirements:
Previous experience in logistics, warehousing, or distribution operations.
Good organisational and coordination skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
