Logistics Executive

Our client is looking for a Logistics Executive to join their growing team. 

Responsibilities:

• Manage landed cost calculations, invoice postings, freight negotiations, and monthly quote comparisons. Coordinate container arrivals, customs clearance, consignment tracking, and shipping payment runs. Work to minimise freight and demurrage costs in line with warehouse needs.
• Handle damaged goods reports, liaise with Category Managers, manage supplier claims, and ensure timely issuance of credit notes.
• Maintain bond statements, prepare declarations for wines and spirits, coordinate item releases, and oversee banderol application.
• Obtain and prepare all necessary shipping documents for Customs, NSO, and other authorities. Compile the monthly marine insurance report.

Requirements:

• Diploma or higher qualification in Supply Chain Management and Logistics.
• Must be Maltese spoken.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of customs systems and procedures.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
