International Trade & Logistics Assistant

Marineworks Ltd in Malta is currently looking to recruit an International Trade & Logistics Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis.

Job Role:
We are looking for a highly organized individual to join our team and assist with international trade and logistics.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the supply chain process, from order placement to delivery.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Liaising with suppliers and customers to ensure orders are placed and delivered on time
• Tracking shipments and ensuring all paperwork is completed correctly
• Coordinating with customs agents to ensure compliance with all international trade regulations
• Negotiating freight rates and managing transportation costs
• Developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers and customers
• Monitoring inventory levels and ensuring stock is replenished as needed
• Ensuring all paperwork is accurate and up to date
• Analysing data to identify areas of improvement in the supply chain process
• Assisting with the development and implementation of new logistics strategies.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A degree in international trade, logistics, or a related field
• At least two years of experience in international trade and logistics
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A high level of attention to detail
• Knowledge of international trade regulations and customs compliance
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
