Assistant Storekeeper

Tumas Group is looking for a full-time Assistant Storekeeper to support the administration and operations of the Maintenance Department stores.

Main duties include:

• Stack goods in assigned shelving and store areas.
• Contact suppliers to determine/compare prices and additional details concerning new items.
• Purchase new items from local suppliers according to requirements. Ensure goods are stored in a manner that does not cause loss, wastage or damage.
• Maintain the stores clean at all times.
• Pick up/leave materials from/at suppliers when necessary.
• Perform other duties as directed by the Maintenance Manager.

Required knowledge and skills:

• Clean driving license
• Computer literate
• Must be trustworthy and have a professional approach.
• Able to work effectively in a team.
• Must be physically fit to move and/or lift objects.
• Good verbal and written communication skills, including fluency in Maltese and English

*Previous experience in a similar role would be considered an advantage.
