Test Automation Analyst

Our client, operating in the Payments industry, is looking for a Test Analyst to join their growing team: 

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive test cases and test scripts.
• Maintain test suites from both test case management and test automation perspectives.
• Ensure proper test case traceability and accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to review and validate test cases.
• Update and refine test cases based on review feedback and changing requirements.
• Execute manual and automated tests in accordance with approved test cases.
• Analyse application behaviour during test execution and capture evidence for further investigation when required.
• Identify, analyse, and troubleshoot defects, determine root causes, and address issues in a timely manner.
• Log, track, and follow up on defects using Jira.
• Maintain accurate task status in line with defined processes and workflows.

Requirements

• Basic experience in APIs
• Good knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle and Testing Concepts
• Good knowledge of testing tools such as JIRA, Zephyr, Jenkins etc.
• Knowledge on SQL and database

Education and Experience

• Degree in Business and IT or equivalent professional qualification.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in API testing
• Located in Malta and local experience.
