Software Developer (Javascript & React)

Our client is a start-up mental fitness platform that helps athletes & teams reach their full potential and is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Software Developer with a passion for sports & fitness. This position will be reporting to the CTO.

Your responsibilities:

• The right candidate will be working closely with the CTO and product, business, and marketing teams.

• Integrating different third-party APIs and platforms into the company's application.

• Leading engineering for specific projects and features.

• Managing web software codebase including maintenance, code repositories, releases, and production issues.

 This position is urgent and ideal for someone who is already located in the European Union as this position is expected to relocate to Malta, working from the office twice a week.

Salary depends on one's exposure and experience.

• 4 Years professional experience working on enterprise level products, websites, etc.
• Experience in working with React, Javascript and Node, Wordpress, Mongo, MySQL, PHP.
• Extensive experience using standard javaScript libraries, JSON, HTML, and CSS to build new modules, plugins and interactive themes;
• Experience integrating third-party APIs/JSON and REST into integrated web applications;
• Knowledge; and experience with CSS Compilers like LESS and SASS
• Extensive experience working with AWS and other cloud environments
• Deep understanding and passion for frontend experiences that are optimized for all platforms including desktop, mobile and tablet;
• Passionate about sports, performance & health.
• Previous experience working with Artificial intelligence (AI).

• Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering or related
