Senior Technical Lead

We are seeking a driven and experienced Senior Technical Lead to guide the technical direction of our Django web app projects. In this role, you will be responsible for gathering client requirements, overseeing the development process, leading a team and ensuring projects are delivered on time and meet all technical specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Task Management & Assignment: Set tasks for the development team and track progress via GitHub
• Code Reviews & Merging: Review and merge pull requests, ensuring code quality and adherence to standards
• Client Communication: Gather client requirements, provide project updates and set expectations
• Project Planning: Develop project timelines, track milestones and adjust plans as needed
• Technical Leadership: Provide guidance on technical decisions and lead development using Django. Additional knowledge of HTMX is a plus
• Hands-on Development: Actively contribute to coding, troubleshooting and feature development
• Collaboration: Foster teamwork and facilitate communication between developers and clients
• Quality Assurance: Ensure quality standards through code reviews, testing and best practices. 

 Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong experience with Python and JavaScript, including libraries such as Django, Bootstrap, etc.
• Proven experience in leading or coordinating development teams
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work directly with clients
• Hands-on experience with Git/GitHub for version control and task management
• Ability to plan and manage project timelines effectively
• Familiarity with software development best practices and quality assurance.
