Senior Software Developer

Computime Group in Malta is currently looking to recruit a Senior Software Developer to join their team on a full-time basis.

Job Role:
We are currently looking for a Senior Software Developer who works with the product team and implementation team to bridge technical aspects in the project implementation lifecycle.  The focus of the available post is on transaction monitoring and case investigation for Anti-Money Laundering, Fraud and Responsible Gaming purposes. As a senior developer, you will be working on interesting challenges to develop solutions that can handle large volumes of transactions with flexible and expressive checks, machine learning techniques for anomaly detection, and data visualization for carrying out suspicious transaction investigations. 

Responsibilities:

• Analyse problems, design and implement solutions
• Support the implementation team in technical aspects of project implementations such as integrations, customization and scaling
• Contribute to continuous improvement of features to our products
• Attend to support calls.

Skills and experience required

• 3+ years’ experience in developing client/server and web application architectures 
• Experience in working on Linux environments
• Experience in web frameworks
• Experience with back-end multi-threading technologies
• Security protocols and implementation of a secure web application through SSL
• SQL and database management
• Solid time-management and communication skills
• Logical thinking
• Methodical and attention to detail. 

Fluency in English is a must!

Nice to have:

• Experience working with React Framework
• Experience in any of the following languages: GoLang and Java
• Good web front-end design skills to produce a clean and easy-to-use experience
• Experience in using big data technologies like Apache Kafka, Apache Spark and time-series databases
• Knowledge of development and infrastructure management processes like Docker, Ansible, and Jenkins.
