QA Engineer

Expedition42 in Malta is currently looking to recruit a QA Engineer to join their team on a full-time basis.

We are looking for a QA Engineer to join our growing team at Talexio.

You will be reporting directly to the Chief Product Officer and your duties will include:

• Collaborate with the development team to develop effective testing strategies and test plans
• Write and execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyse results
• Create reports to document testing phases and defects
• Report bugs and errors to development teams
• Help troubleshoot issues
• Conduct pre-release and post-release testing
• Work with other QA testers and cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle 

Skill-sets and Requirements:

• Good understanding of software development lifecycle and QA methodology
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing
• Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
• Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English
• Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude

Education & Experience:

• Minimum 2 years experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role
• BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or specific training in Quality Assurance
• Familiarity with Agile methodology
• Familiarity with test automation suites and regression testing
• Coding skills in Javascript or Python will be considered an asset.
