Junior Software Developer

Our client is growing their IT team and looking for a Junior Software Developer to assist with various projects.
Your Responsibilities:
- Write, test, and maintain code to meet requirements and specifications.
- Develop software solutions that align with the organization's goals and industry best practices.
- Analyse and troubleshoot complex issues in code and software systems.
- Identify and assess opportunities for business process automation.
- Work closely with end-users to gather requirements, provide updates, and address feedback during the development process.
- Follow coding standards, conventions, and best practices to maintain consistency and code quality.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including code documentation, system architecture, and development processes.
- Where applicable ensure handover of documentation and training to IT support team for existing and new applications.
- Knowledge on HTML, Javascript and/or Java.
- Knowledge on MySQL.
- Fluency in English.
- Must be already based in Malta.
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Development or similar OR work experience as a software developer.
- 10% performance bonus on the overall salary
- Hybrid work model
