Melita Ltd in Malta is looking to recruit an experienced Front-End Developer to join their team on a full-time basis to build enterprise-class web applications for our customers and employees

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Build maintainable high-quality software with Angular
  • Create interfaces using HTML5, SCSS, Typescript
  • Integrate with 3rd party and internal systems via documented APIs
  • User experience design

Job Requirements:
  • Strong software engineer skills (OOP and UI Patterns, 3-tier architecture, security)
  • Experience in high-performance, scalable and maintainable architectures
  • 2-3 years of commercial experience developing solutions using Angular and related technologies
  • Experience with creating mobile-first responsive web interfaces, HTML5, CSS3
  • Proven and strong knowledge of Angular, RxJS, Typescript, and CSS pre-processors like SCSS or SASS
  • Excellent knowledge of REST-style web services
  • Experience with build tools (Webpack, Gulp)
  • Ability to self-learn new technologies, and patterns and apply them in development
  • Experience writing unit and e2e tests
  • Basic understanding of git.
Additional desirable skills:
  • UX design and prototyping
  • Basic understanding of Jenkins
  • Knowledge of state management (Redux, NGRX, etc.)
