DEVOPS Engineer

Isoall Ltd in Malta is currently looking to recruit a DEVOPS Engineer to join their team on a full-time basis.

Overview:

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to play a vital role in our technology team. This remote position is centered around bringing new applications to life using the latest technologies and hardware. As an integral part of our team, you will be involved in all stages of our engineering lifecycle, from designing and coding to testing, deploying, and supporting features critical to our applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and administer Kubernetes clusters, including experience with HELM, Kubectl, and ACLs
• Provide database administration for MSSQL, ensuring its performance, availability, and security
• Manage and maintain our Active Directory environment
• Administer and optimize Windows Server environments
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Powershell, Bash, or other scripting languages
• Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues
• Manage Cloudflare settings and configurations
• Administer Gsuite for the organization
• Configure and maintain Web Application Firewalls (WAF)
• Administer caching and load balancing solutions, specifically Varnish and HAproxy
• Manage Azure cloud services, ensuring efficient administration and cost optimization.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role in a mid-sized company
• Strong knowledge of container orchestration using Kubernetes
• Experience in database administration (MSSQL)
• Familiarity with Active Directory and Windows Server environments
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Powershell and Bash
• Good understanding of networking concepts and protocols
• Experience with Cloudflare and Gsuite administration
• Knowledge of WAF and experience with Varnish/HAproxy administration
• Experience with Azure cloud services
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
