Back End Software Developer

Our globally known client is on the lookout for a Back End Developer to join their team here in Malta.
Your Responsibilities:
- Work closely with engineers and product managers to brainstorm software solutions.
- Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams to architect, build, and support back end systems and APIs.
- Write code that is clean, efficient, and easily maintainable, including thorough documentation.
- Prioritize performance and responsiveness in all backend applications to ensure optimal user experience.
- Proactively identify and resolve technical issues and bugs as they arise.
- Engage in regular code reviews to uphold code quality and adhere to best practices.
- Coordinate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with backend logic.
- At least 2 years of work experience as a software developer.
- Proficiency using back end programming languages mainly C#, .NET, Python and Java.
- Understanding of REStful APIs and web services.
- Knowledge on database management such as SQL.
- Knowledge on Git or similar.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Degree in Computer Science or a relevant field in IT
