OASI Foundation is looking for a person to form part of its dynamic team. This person would be responsible for supporting Immediate Intervention and delivering our Therapeutic Program for treatment of persons suffering addiction. This motivated individual should be able to work on their own initiative, while at the same time be part of a team. This person would be using their experience and knowledge to help create strategies for achieving the long-term goals of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
• Support and guide clients through structured therapeutic programmes in residential and community settings.
• Manage a caseload, delivering high-quality, person-centered individual and group therapy.
• Facilitate engaging group sessions, therapeutic activities, and psycho educational workshops.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic, integrated care.
• Engage and support families as part of the therapeutic process.
• Participate in supervision, team meetings, and ongoing professional development.
• Contribute to community awareness and organizational development initiatives.
• Strong organizational skills and accurate record keeping.
Role Requirements:
• Demonstrated empathy and ability to build strong therapeutic relationships.
• Strong active listening and effective communication skills.
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries and uphold strict confidentiality.
• Strong safeguarding awareness and commitment to safe practice.
• Fluency in Maltese and English (spoken and written).
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong organisational skills and accurate record keeping.
• Commitment to long-term engagement in the role.
Qualifications:
• QF Level 6 degree in Social Science (or currently in process of finalizing such qualification).
• Relevant experience and suitability will also be considered.
