Equal Partners Foundation in Malta is currently looking to recruit a Services Coordinator to join their team on a full-time basis. Equal Partners is a parent-run organisation established in 1999, with the primary objective of supporting individuals with disability/learning difficulties and their families. The Foundation is a leader in innovative inclusive practices. 

Job Role:

We are looking for a motivated individual who is well-organised, capable of adapting easily to new situations, has excellent communication skills and is respectful toward diversity. The candidate would be directly responsible to the Director of Services.

Duties include:

  • The coordination of the transdisciplinary services offered by the Foundation
  • Maintaining direct contact with the service users regarding the sessions and programmes followed
  • Coordinating sessions with all stakeholders; These include assessments, reviews and school visits
  • Making sure that all documentation is up to date
  • Maintaining direct contact with all team members: the psychologists, social workers, developmental interventionists, parents/ guardians and school staff
  • Organising and participating in the supervision and CPD carried out by trainers
  • Meeting potential service users regarding their children’s needs and explaining EPF’s services and programmes
  • Coordinating students’ schedules for their placements
  • Being responsible for the recruitment process of new employees
  • Providing a weekly report on the work being carried out
  • Highlighting any difficulties service users are encountering
  • Offering recommendations to better the service
  • The coordination between the Foundation and governmental and non-governmental agencies
  • And any other activity needed for the smooth running of the Foundation 

Requirements:

  • Experience in administrative work will be considered an asset
  • Be a team player with excellent communication and organizational skills and an advocate for inclusive practices
  • A degree in psychology, social work or in any other helping profession will be considered an asset
  • Good command of both spoken and written Maltese and English
