Hand in Hand Limited in Malta is currently looking to recruit an ABA/Autism Therapist to join their team on a full-time basis.

Job Description:

Previous experience working with children with autism and/or additional needs will be considered an asset.

Our clinical team at Hand in Hand consists of Board Certified Behaviour Analysts, Supervisors and ABA Tutors. Through our dedicated team, we individualise your child's intervention to cater for their specific needs, as well as the needs of your family and, are committed to the use of evidence-based practices to ensure success.

The Role:
The chosen candidate will provide excellent teaching and assistance to children with autism and associated learning difficulties. Will support the Clinical team in ensuring the daily needs of our children are met in a professional, competent, safe and fun environment. To follow the principles of ABA to enable the children to access and learn in a way that allows them to learn new skills at their own pace.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing ABA instruction to children with autism and related communication disorders on an individual basis
  • Assessing, diagnosing, screening, and preventing language and speech disorders
  • Ensure that school timetables are adhered to at all times
  • To supervise indoor/outdoor playtime for all children
  • To be responsible for the safeguarding and health and safety of children, including maintaining a safe environment, following and implementing relevant policies and risk assessments as appropriate
  • Safeguarding the security, safety and wellbeing of pupils at all times during school hours, in school and out in the community reporting any concerns in accordance with the safeguarding and child protection policy.
