Workshop Supervisor

Avis Malta is seeking to recruit a Workshop Supervisor to join their team on a full-time basis.

Duties:
The candidate will report to the COO and will be responsible for:

• General management of the workshop, body shop, and paint shop.
• Prepare, supervise and control workshop activities, including the scheduling of work in the Service department.
• Liaise with customers and diagnose customer concerns with the equipment prior to being booked in for service and/or repair.
• Coordination of service, panel beating, and spray-painting appointments with customers.
• Continually improving planning, scheduling, purchasing, stores, data management, and job reporting systems to increase planning. effectiveness and efficiency.
• Monitor and evaluate all Workshop Technicians.
• Ensure all work areas are kept clean and that all tools are put away securely at end of the day.
• Quality control of jobs.
• Ensure relevant job cards are completed and inputted into the workshop computer system by all departments.
• Responsible for inventory control.
• Promotion of health and safety procedures at the place of work.
• Ensure all health and safety equipment is serviced within the appropriate timeframes.
• Scheduling required health and safety training for all workshop employees.

• Experience in the automotive industry is a must.
• Mature candidate.
