Warehouse Driver

At The General Soft Drinks Co. Ltd, we are seeking a reliable and proactive Warehouse Driver to join our Plant & Supply Chain team. Reporting directly to the Warehouse Coordinator, the successful candidate will support logistics operations by providing internal and external transportation services, while assisting with various warehouse activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive company vehicles safely and responsibly both on and off company premises as instructed.
• Perform client deliveries when required, particularly in emergency situations.
• Ensure company vehicles, including trucks used by internal drivers, are kept clean and presentable at all times.
• Assist with warehouse operations, including loading and unloading trucks and other warehousing-related duties.
• Collect stock from external warehouse facilities when required.
• Collect waste generated by Production, Purchasing, and Stores departments on a daily basis and ensure proper disposal.
• Support yard labourers and lifters with operational tasks as needed.
• Coordinate the delivery and collection of CO₂ and other gas cylinders from suppliers and external warehouses.
• Maintain company vehicles and equipment in good condition through careful and courteous driving practices.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Driving Licence Category C.
• Secondary level of education.
• Previous experience driving large vehicles will be considered an asset.
• Experience within a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment is advantageous.

Skills & Competencies:

• Basic mathematical skills.
• Good written and reading literacy skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in both Maltese and English.
• Well-organised and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Strong sense of responsibility and commitment to safety.
