Technician (Traineeship)

Our client, a leading manufacturing company in Malta, is currently recruiting for Machinists/Operatives with the opportunity to work as well as become qualified through a fully sponsored, MQF Level 4 technical course. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates to be able to get first-hand technical experience as well as training from one of Malta's established educational institutions. Successful completion of this course will enable applicants to progress to the Technician Grade over a 3-year period.

As part of your work, you will be assisting with the running and the up keeping of the plant and machinery through;

• Maintenance of the machinery and plant in line with the Standard Operating Procedures,
• Assisting in the troubleshooting of faults which cause the production to stop,
• Taking an active part in periodic maintenance of overhauls, etc,
• Ascertaining quality by implementing tests on the products as indicated by the Standard Operating Procedures.
