Site Assistant (Construction)

Our Client, working in construction are looking for a dedicated and dependable Site Assistant to support their Project Supervisor and contribute to maintaining safe, organised, and efficient construction sites.

Responsibilities will include:

• Assist the Project Supervisor with the day-to day site operations, including coordinating given tasks and maintaining schedules.
• Use of manual and electric tools will be required to perform some tasks. (by using a hand driller, Jigger, angle grinder etc.)
• Assist and prepare any temporary water and electric distribution throughout the site.
• Erect and Install, maintain safety equipment where already installed on site (eg. Barriers, and warning signs) to ensure compliance with safety and health standards.
• Perform general site cleaning duties, including removal of debris, clearing of walkways and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
• Identify and promptly report any safety concerns.
• Monitor the site for any potential hazards and report any safety concerns to the Project Supervisor.
• It can be the case that there will be multiple sites in progress in different locations.
• Assist the Supervisor to compile any reports and documentation as requested.

Working Hours: Monday - Friday: 07:00 - 15:30

Requirements

• Candidates must already be based in Malta, with the legal right to work in Malta
• Hold an excellent level of English
• Must have experience using power tools and be confident in their operation.
• Have experience in construction or site maintenance.
• Basic understanding of safety protocols and regulations.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and handle material lifting.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and reliable.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
