Our client who operates within the hospitality sector is looking to employ a Security & Safety Manager.
Safeguard physical well-being of property, employees, and guests.
Experience in handling various emergencies and advising management.
Represent hotel and country with respect and quality service.
Ensure implementation of operational security procedures.
Manage security of contractors, suppliers, and vendors.
Maintain dialogue with local security authorities.
Ensure courteous and professional service from security officers.
Vet daily functions and VIP arrival list for appropriate security deployment.
Account for master keys and key control.
Keep senior management informed on security matters.
Review and suggest adjustments to security processes.
Pursue prosecution of felonious acts with local authorities.
Monitor entry and exit to prevent theft and unauthorised access.
Liaise with department heads for safe and efficient resort operation.
Provide recommendations on security equipment and training.
Evaluate and improve security procedures in various departments.
Report health or safety hazards to General Manager.
Attend staff and training meetings as directed.
Ensure compliance with resort policies and grooming standards.
Handle incidents and emergencies sensitively and professionally.
Conduct inquiries and follow-up activities for security incidents.
Provide fire and health safety training and certification.
Refresh firefighting team and conduct fire drills regularly.
Inspect and report irregularities in fire safety equipment.
Train emergency response and management teams.
Refresh First Aiders' training annually.
Guide, supervise, and motivate security personnel.
Plan and conduct regular training for security personnel.
Brief security officers daily on duties and ensure readiness.

Knowledge of local security regulations and procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Proficiency in implementing and monitoring security procedures.
Ability to maintain composure and make effective decisions in high-pressure situations.

Proficiency in MS Office and security management software.
Education & Experience
A degree or equivalent in operational management
Demonstrated experience in handling various emergencies and advising management on security matters.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in hotel security management or relevant security roles.
