Our client, an established group of companies, are looking to recruit a Security Manager to join their growing team. Reporting to the General Manager, the chosen candidate will be responsible :
Understanding the unique security requirements of each department and aligning them with overall organizational goals;
Developing strategies tailored to the organization's risks and vulnerabilities is crucial;
Budget management is key to ensuring efficient security operations;
Building a skilled and reliable security team is essential;
Staying ahead of potential threats requires gathering intelligence and implementing proactive measures;
Effective scheduling and task allocation are essential for smooth security operations;
Rapid and coordinated responses to emergencies are critical;
Maintaining surveillance equipment is essential for effective security monitoring;
Staying informed about the latest security technologies and trends is vital for staying ahead of emerging threats;
Compliance with policies and regulations is non-negotiable for security operations;
Regular communication with other managers is essential for understanding overall operational needs,
Special events may require unique security arrangements;
Clear communication and coordination are crucial during emergencies;
Analyzing incident reports and addressing underlying issues is essential for continuous improvement;
Providing regular reports to management keeps stakeholders informed about the security status.
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a Security manager
Deep understanding of legal health and safety guidelines
Ability to produce reports and develop relevant policies
Good knowledge of data analysis and risk assessment
Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
Willing to work flexible working hours subject to the demands of the business.
Education and Experience
BSc/BA in Safety management or relevant field
Valid qualification in occupational health and safety
Excellent level of spoken and written English
