We are looking for a Production Manager to join our client's dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling all aspects of the production process and will be reporting to the CEO and Project Director. This includes ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with safety and quality standards.
 
 
ABOUT OUR CLIENT
 
Our client is a company focused on the construction and manufacture of building materials and is based in Naxxar, Malta.
 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of production projects from inception to completion.
  • Develop and implement detailed production schedules, including timelines for each phase of the production process.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure resources and materials are available as needed.
  • Monitor project progress against schedules and budgets, making adjustments as necessary to meet objectives.
  • Identify and resolve issues related to manpower, materials, and equipment promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
  • Enforce quality control measures to maintain high standards of construction.
  • Facilitate communication between various departments and stakeholders to ensure smooth operation of production.
  • Provide regular reports to senior management on production progress, challenges, and outcomes.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve production processes.
 
EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
  • A minimum of 3+ years’ experience is required. 
  • Proven experience as a Production Manager or similar role in the construction industry.
  • Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and market trends.
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team of professionals.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
EDUCATION
 
Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
 
WORKING TIME
 
Monday to Friday, from 07:00 till 16:00 with one hour break. Shutdown in Summer and Christmas.
