Mechanical Maintenance Coordinator

Ceek (Recruitment Solutions) in Malta is currently looking to recruit a Mechanical Maintenance Coordinator to join their client's team on a full-time basis.

Our client, a well-established construction company in Malta, is looking for a dedicated individual to join their team as a Mechanical Maintenance Coordinator. Interested? What is expected of you?

• Plan, delegate, and coordinate work for team members and technicians based on their skills and project needs
• Attend meetings with clients, sub-contractors, suppliers, and team members to ensure effective communication and collaboration
• Oversee on-site activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and specifications
• Monitor and control project budgets, overall work quality, and adherence to specifications
• Prepare and manage quotations for small jobs, preventive maintenance, and spare parts; solicit quotes from suppliers
• Liaise with the Chief Maintenance Officer regarding financial margins and company policies
• Supervise and support technicians, ensuring successful project execution, technical support, and continuous learning
• Motivate the team to foster engagement and high performance
• Plan and coordinate the delivery and authorization of materials and tools on-site
• Manage the preventive maintenance schedule, including coordinating with clients, scheduling dates, and keeping records
• Compile and manage a detailed list of required materials, including part numbers, descriptions, quantities, and prices
• Certify systems and attend handover sessions.

What are you expected to bring?

• Be in possession of Electrical Licence A and Licence B
• Previous experience in a similar role, managing a team
• Previous experience in troubleshooting
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to promote a collaborative work environment.
