Master Technician

Our client operates within the automotive and vehicle servicing industry.

• Carry out advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting, servicing, and repairs on commercial vehicles, and fleet-related vehicles;
• Identify and resolve complex mechanical and technical faults efficiently and accurately;
• Support the day-to-day workshop operations by ensuring repair and maintenance work is completed to high standards;
• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and repair works in line with operational and safety requirements;
• Assist junior technicians where required by providing technical support and guidance on complex repairs;
• Ensure all servicing, repair, and maintenance activities are completed within agreed timelines;
• Maintain accurate records relating to diagnostics, repairs, servicing, and technical findings;
• Ensure workshop procedures, safety standards, and quality expectations are consistently followed;
• Liaise with workshop management regarding technical issues, vehicle conditions, and operational requirements;
• Contribute to maintaining an organised, efficient, and productive workshop environment.

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience within a vehicle mechanical workshop, transport, or fleet maintenance environment;
• Strong hands-on experience working on commercial vehicles, or large fleet vehicles;
• Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and fault-finding experience is essential;
• Experience with vehicle servicing, repairs, and preventative maintenance procedures;
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience will be considered an asset;
• Fluency in English is required; Maltese will be considered an asset.
