Maintenance Technician(M&E)

We are a No.1 Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) company in Malta, delivering high-quality engineering solutions across major projects and facilities. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our growing maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive and reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems (HVAC, pumps, motors, control panels, lighting, BMS systems).
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults in compliance with REWS and OHSA regulations.
• Perform testing, inspection, and support certification of electrical installations.
• Maintain and service mechanical systems to ensure smooth operation and minimal downtime.
• Keep accurate maintenance records, logs, and reports.
• Coordinate with contractors and suppliers for planned maintenance works.
• Ensure strict compliance with health & safety standards at all times.
• Participate in on-call / emergency breakdown response when required.

Requirements

• Valid REWS Electrical Licence (A or B).
• Qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (MQF Level 3 or higher).
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in maintenance, building services, or industrial systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, and/or BMS is an asset.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Reliable, responsible, and able to work both independently and in a team.
