Heavy Vehicle Mechanic

E&L Enterprises is currently seeking to recruit a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic on a full-time basis to form part of our Team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform repairs and maintenance on heavy vehicles, including trucks, trailers, and other industrial vehicles.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on various types of heavy machinery.
• Conduct regular preventative maintenance on fleet vehicles, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Replace worn parts, such as brakes, wheel bearings, and sensors, and test repaired vehicles for proper functioning.
• Maintain detailed service records and complete necessary paperwork on inspections, services, and repairs.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure fleet vehicles are maintained at a high standard.
• Adhere to company policies, safety standards, and relevant regulations.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic or similar role (2+ years preferred).
• Strong knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods.
