General Maintenance Supervisor

Our client is a Building Services organisation that holds a number of maintenance contracts with large establishments throughout Malta. A General Maintenance Supervisor is now required to lead a team of maintenance professionals on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities:
  • Preparing weekly maintenance schedules; coordinating the team and allocating work as per planned preventative maintenance agreements;
  • Overseeing all repairs and ensuring that work is completed on time;
  • Maintaining inventory and equipment, ensuring proper storage;
  • Ensuring maintenance team comply with health & safety regulations on-site;
  • Establishing new strategies to improve efficiency;
  • Ensuring that the required supplies of parts, materials, tools, and equipment required are available;
  • Preparing customer premises for work, including ladders, scaffolding, hand tools, power tools, and other equipment as required;
  • Transporting tools, equipment, and supplies of materials required on job sites;
  • Ensuring that job sites are cleared at the end of duty.

Requirements:
  • Technically minded with a background in a supervisory / team leader position on general maintenance;
  • Excellent communication skills both with team and clients;
  • Hands-on problem-solver with a positive attitude;
  • Ability with hand power tools etc;
  • Able to work at heights and in confined spaces.
