Facilities Supervisor

Our client, an Educational institution here in Malta is recruiting for a Facilities Supervisor to oversee and maintain the premises and ensure safety, cleanliness, and excellent maintenance upkeep. Reporting to the Facilities Manager, your duties will include; 

• Driving and overseeing a team of maintenance personnel, providing support where needed
• Conducting regular inspections of the school premises to identify and address maintenance needs
• Assisting the maintenance department with basic installations and the management of school assets
• Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and ensuring timely completion of tasks
• Monitoring security systems, including CCTV cameras, to ensure the safety and security of the school premises
• Upholding Health and Safety standards, prioritizing student safety in all maintenance activities
• Preparing and submit reports on maintenance activities and improvement proposals
• Ensuring that all equipment is used according to the training provided and organizational policies

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role
• Experience in electrical and plumbing installations; Electrical Licences A&B are considered an asset
• Knowledge of Health and Safety standards
• Proficiency with software including Outlook, Excel, Teams, Visitor Management software, and security systems
• Based in Malta with a Valid driving license and own transport.
• Professional level of English, fluency in Maltese is an asset

Education and Experience

• O Level qualifications in Maths, English, and Maltese or better
