Ducting Worker

Feelings Enterprises Limited in Malta is currently looking to recruit a Ducting Worker to join their client's team on a full/part-time basis.

Job Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Ducting Worker. The Ducting Worker will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining ductwork systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HVAC systems, excellent mechanical skills, and a commitment to ensuring quality workmanship.

Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and maintain ductwork systems according to blueprints, specifications, and industry standards
• Measure and cut duct materials accurately to ensure proper fit and alignment
• Assemble and secure duct components using various tools and techniques, including welding, soldering, and adhesive bonding
• Insulate ductwork to prevent heat loss or gain and ensure energy efficiency
• Seal joints and connections to prevent air leaks and ensure optimal system performance
• Test ductwork for proper airflow, pressure, and temperature control
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with ductwork systems, including leaks, blockages, and inefficiencies
• Collaborate with other members of the HVAC team to coordinate projects and ensure timely completion
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
• Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each job.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in HVAC or ductwork installation
• Strong knowledge of ductwork systems, components, and installation techniques
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and technical specifications
• Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• HVAC certification or relevant trade certifications preferred
• Commitment to maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer satisfaction.
