Driver / Installer assistant

We are looking for a reliable Technical Delivery to become a key member of our field operations team. This role focuses on the safe transport, unboxing, and assisting on setting up of specialized equipment across various customer locations. You will operate in a collaborative environment, teaming up with one colleague for standard tasks or working in larger units of four for heavy-duty setups.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles to transport products to diverse client sites on time.
• Load transport vehicles securely, verifying that all cargo is balanced, tied down, and safe for transit.
• Unpack, unbox, and carefully handle arriving equipment to safeguard it from damage.
• Perform on-site installation assistance, leveraging a hands-on mechanical aptitude to assemble and set up systems.
• Collaborate closely in paired teams of two for standard or lightweight setups.
• Keep precise transit documentation, delivery confirmation receipts, and job logs.
• Project a helpful and professional attitude when interacting directly with residential or business clients.
• Inspect items for faults before distribution and report any discrepancies to the operations supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Possession of a current Category B driving license, or a valid international driving qualification.
• Previous background or familiarity with apparatus installation, mechanics, or technical assembly is an asset.
• Clear verbal and written interaction skills coupled with a customer-focused approach.
• Physical capability to lift, shift, and position industrial materials safely alongside team members.
• Excellent communication skills written and verbally through the English language.
