Delivery Driver

The Driver reports directly to the Distribution and Cold Store Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for executing sales and distribution services to a variety of company clients. As a primary point of contact between the company and its customers, you will play a crucial role in maintaining strong customer relationships, promoting products, and ensuring efficient, safe, and accurate delivery of goods.

Duties and responsibilities are but not limited to:

• Ensure that the designated company vehicle is properly equipped, maintained, and prepared for daily routes.
• Collect and deliver products while strictly adhering to all safety precautions and guidelines.
• Safely load and unload all merchandise from the vehicle, which includes regular heavy lifting of packages.
• Accept authorized returns from customers, accurately complete all necessary documentation, and return the items to the warehouse.
• Contact existing and prospective clients to take orders and actively work to increase sales volume.
• Inform customers about product availability, updates, and current pricing structures.
• Serve as an approachable and professional point of reference between the company and its clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Promptly report any discrepancies, shortages, or damages of goods to the Distribution and Cold Store Manager.
• Deliver accurate invoices alongside orders and responsibly collect and process payments from clients.
• Maintain meticulous driving records, including mileage logs, gas receipts, and delivery confirmations.
• Willing to work early hours.

Working hours: Monday to Saturday from 03:00 - 10:00am

Requirements

• Currently based in Malta
• Possess a customer-centric approach; with an outgoing and friendly personality 
• Good communication skills in English.
• Able to walk, drive, lift and carry heavy items for extended periods.

Education and Experience

• Must be in possession of License B
• A good level of spoken and written in English
• Previous experience in a similar position is a must
• License Category C is an asset
