Solutions Architect

We are seeking to employ a Solutions Architect within our Information Security & Governance Department to assess IT solutions and system designs for the validation and verification of security controls. The role involves using systematic assessments and threat modelling approaches.
The successful candidate should be familiar with identifying common threats and vulnerabilities using established security practices and possess working knowledge of security controls across areas such as application security, identity management, network security, and vulnerability management. Familiarity with applying controls from security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27000 series, or CIS Benchmarks would be beneficial.
The successful candidate will apply security and privacy principles into projects and ensure compliance with security standards. The role may include researching security tools to assist with the architecture, requirements, and design of IT solutions. Collaboration with internal teams and vendors to define and implement security processes in line with recognized standards is also expected.
Eligibility Requirements:
Eligible candidates must satisfy one of the following options in terms of qualifications and / or experience in an ICT-related area:
i. A qualification in a related area (MQF Level 7 OR higher) OR
ii. A qualification in a related area (MQF Level 6) AND an additional 1 year experience in a related area; OR
iii. A qualification in a related area (MQF Level 5) AND an additional 3 years experience in a related area; OR
iv. A qualification in a related area (MQF Level 4) AND an additional 4 years experience in a related area; OR
v. 5 years experience in a related area.
