Project/Team Leader

Are you passionate about strengthening organisational security through effective governance, policy development, and project leadership? We are seeking a Project/Team Leader to join our Security Governance & Policy Development team and drive initiatives that enhance the Agency's information and cyber security governance framework.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead projects that shape security policies, strengthen governance practices, and support compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

i. Lead the development, implementation and continual improvement of information security policies, procedures and governance frameworks.

ii. Coordinate compliance reviews, risk assessments, audits and assurance activities to evaluate and enhance the effectiveness of security controls.

iii. Provide guidance and support on information security governance, risk management, policy interpretation and compliance matters.

iv. Lead security awareness and training initiatives to promote a strong security culture across the Agency.

v. Monitor regulatory, legislative and cybersecurity developments and recommend improvements to governance and policy frameworks.

vi. Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to security governance, compliance monitoring and risk management practices.

vii. Coordinate and contribute to security governance and policy-related projects, ensuring delivery within agreed scope, timelines and quality standards.

viii. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to embed information security requirements across services, projects and operations.

Eligibility Requirements:

 

 

Eligible candidates must hold either of the following qualifications and/or experience in an ICT related area:

 

i) A qualification (MQF Level 7 OR higher); OR

 

ii) A qualification (MQF Level 6) and an additional one-year experience; OR

 

iii) A qualification (MQF Level 5) and an additional three years' experience; OR

 

iv) A qualification (MQF Level 4) and an additional four years' experience; OR

 

v) Five years' experience in a related area.

 

*Candidates’ qualifications, experience, and competencies will be assessed in line with the Agency’s Career Progression framework. The successful candidate may be engaged at either the standard level – Career Level 4 or the Senior level – Career Level 5.
