IT Security Officer (ISO)

Our client is looking for an IT Security Officer to join their team in Malta. The successful candidate will ensure confidentiality focusing on the Digital Operational Resilience Act. 

Your key responsibilities:

• Create and enforce clear rules to protect information.
• Regularly check for and fix potential security issues and risks.
• Work with IT and business teams to make sure security is part of new systems and applications, following DORA guidelines.
• Communicate with the legal department to make sure IT security follows the law.
• Keep track of security incidents, investigate problems, and take corrective actions. Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends.

• Deep understanding of information security principles, practices, and technologies.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks, particularly DORA.
• Experience in conducting risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, and security audits.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with effective communication and collaboration abilities.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field
• Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, CRISC, etc.)
