Finductive Ltd in Malta is currently looking to recruit an InfoSec Manager to join their team on a full-time basis.

Overview:
At Finductive, we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of security in every aspect of our operations. We are currently seeking a skilled Security Generalist to establish and lead our Information Security (IS) program. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in security infrastructure and operations, looking to take the next step in their career by building a program from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and manage the overall Information Security program
  • Collaborate with IT teams to design and maintain security infrastructure
  • Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards
  • Develop and enforce policies and procedures to ensure the protection of IT assets and the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of information
  • Lead incident response activities and investigations into security breaches
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on security protocols
  • Manage security projects and initiatives from inception to completion
  • Report directly to the CTO with a dotted line reporting on IS risk to the CEO and executive management.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field
  • Minimum of four years of experience in a security role
  • Strong understanding of current security protocols, standards, and best practices
  • Experience with security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, authentication systems, log management, content filtering, etc
  • Knowledge of risk assessment tools, technologies, and methods
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.


Desired Qualifications:

  • Professional security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH)
  • Experience in developing and implementing security programs
  • Knowledge of legal, regulatory, and compliance issues in information security.
