Information Security Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Information Security Systems Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of security principles, technologies, and best practices. They will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our security infrastructure.

Main Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage security platforms. Examples of such platforms include firewalls, Web Application firewalls and anti-virus software.
• Conduct periodical security assessments and patching.
• Investigate and respond to security incidents,
• Stay up to date on the latest security threats and trends.

Qualifications:

• Degree in IT, Computer Science, Systems Engineering or a related field.
• Certifications such as CEH, CISSP or other relevant industry-based security certifications
• CCNA, LPIC and MCSA certifications will be highly considered.

Skills/Knowledge:

• In-depth knowledge of security principles, technologies, and best practices.
• Experience with firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and other security solutions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft tooling.
• Strong understanding of network security concepts.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Flexibility to work irregular hours when the need arises.
• A valid driving license.
