Premier Capital plc. is seeking to appoint an Information Security Officer to devise and manage its information security strategy and to contribute to on-going efforts to maintain adequate security measures across its six markets.
Based in Malta and reporting to the Director of IT at Premier Capital plc., the Information Security Officer will collaborate closely with IT leads across the markets and communicate with both internal and external stakeholders on security matters, projects, and initiatives. The role involves promoting security awareness and training programs, defining and ensuring compliance with policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines, and staying updated on the latest cyber trends to recommend appropriate security controls.
The successful candidate will ensure that security capabilities are aligned with business goals and the organization's risk profile. This position requires proven experience in information security management, a strong understanding of current cyber threats and mitigation strategies, and excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

THE REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Computing, Cybersecurity, or a related field, complemented by a minimum of two years of relevant experience. Possessing a professional certification such as CISA, COBIT, or CEH will be considered as an asset.
Candidates with a strong understanding of GDPR and a solid knowledge of the NIST Cybersecurity Framework or ISO27001 will be given preference. The successful candidate will exhibit exceptional attention to detail, creative problem-solving abilities, and strategic planning and execution skills. Additionally, they must demonstrate the capability to communicate effectively across various levels of the organization, ensuring clear and concise information dissemination and collaboration.
