Deputy IT Manager

Position Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Deputy IT Manager to join our growing team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in overseeing and optimizing daily IT operations, ensuring reliability, compliance, and alignment with the company's strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and configure the IT infrastructure and laboratory equipment, ensuring efficiency and security
• Manage data security, access control, system backups, and vulnerability management strategies
• Drive IT initiatives, overseeing system upgrades, cybersecurity enhancements, and process automation
• Implement IT policies objectives and requirements, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and best practices
• Collaborate effectively across departments to ensure robust and compliant IT operations
• Generate and maintain detailed IT and laboratory equipment documentation
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, particularly in documentation and IT audit readiness.

Candidate Profile:

• Education: BSc in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• Experience: 5+ years of experience in IT systems administration, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux OS, virtualization, and networking technologies
• Proven leadership skills, with experience in managing IT teams and projects
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration abilities
• High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate IT documentation
• Experience in the pharmaceutical or regulated industry is a strong advantage
