Cashpoint (Malta) Ltd. is currently looking to recruit a Data Protection Analyst (m/f/d) to join their team on a full-time basis.

Overview:

CASHPOINT is one of the leading names in the sports betting industry and part of MERKUR GROUP, an internationally recognized company with over 15,000 employees. We operate in multiple licensed markets, both online and with physical shops, and have ambitious plans for further expansion. 

For this reason, Cashpoint Malta Ltd is seeking a diligent Data Protection Analyst (m/f/d) to support its online casino operations team in maintaining compliance with data protection regulations. The Data Protection Analyst will play a crucial role in executing operational policies and procedures, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • As a Data Protection Analyst (m/f/d), you will ensure compliance of Online Casino Operations with data protection regulations, particularly in Germany, based on procedures created by the manager
  • Furthermore, you will be ownership of GDPR and legal cases by responding to Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs) and preparing respective personal data files
  • Moreover, you will provide second-line support to all operational functions when it comes to GDPR and Legal topics
  • In addition, you will be entrusted with the Backoffice and BI Tools and research to generate, filter, evaluate and prepare the personal data files
  • Finally, you will be working across an international team supporting German, Austrian and Danish jurisdictions.

Qualifications:

  • First-hand experience in the iGaming industry or working with compliance, GDPR or data protection related issues
  • Comfortable working in a tech environment. Excel and BI Tools are everyday tools required for daily operations
  • Familiar with industry Cyber and/or Information Security guidelines and protocols
  • Excellent German and English language written and verbal skills
  • Able to work on shift basis across weekdays and weekends.
