Trelleborg Sealing Solutions Malta Ltd is looking to recruit a full-time Materials Development Engineer to develop new rubber compounds to meet the ever-increasing needs in the markets we operate across the globe.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Develop new rubber compounds to meet customer specifications.
- Design mixing processes to achieve optimum processing properties.
- Provide rubber compound technical service to customers and Trelleborg Group sites.
- Compile technical literature/documentation for promotion purposes.
Candidate Profile:
- BSc or Master’s degree in Chemistry.
- Experience in rubber compound development and processing will be an asset (training locally and abroad will be given as required).
Desired Competencies:
- Confident and cross-cultural communicator.
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced level of MS Office package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work under own initiative and with a ‘continuous self-improvement’ attitude.
